ever after.
This song was playing on the radio this afternoon and I can’t it out of my mind now.

I had a tummyache and decided to drink a bottle of Vitagen to fix it. But the Vitagen turns out to be spoiled.. and I drank like 3 mouthfuls of it before deciding it’s really rotten. It was really gassy and I even asked myself for a moment if Vitagen now comes carbonated these days zzz
I’m really into seafood these days which is a very strange food phase. We just did a $350 seafood dinner (pretty expensive by my standards) on Friday with crabs, drunken prawns and all and yesterday when we were out on our usual weekend-in-town date, I opted for seafood aglio olio at TCC, instead of my usual gratin choices. Now the boy’s doing his stuff in the kitchen, making tomato based pasta with all the stuff I want – sliced black olives, crab meat, fresh scallops and prawns and anchovies. YUMS! while I surf the net for skincare reviews… I think I’m extremely lucky
WY asked me the other day what common hobbies do I share with the boy and we both conclude that our weekends are best spent in town – looking for a new place for lunch, then coffee (or rather earl grey for him and a kiddie milk shake for me) at a cafe where he can read his The Economist while I enjoy my chick lit and grocery shopping at Jason’s. We caught The Bridesmaids yesterday and I think it’s pretty good! You really should catch it if you haven’t and though it’s a chick flick, there’re pretty good jokes in the movie that the men will like!
And I just gotten myself a clarisonic mia!

It’s supposed to be really good at cleansing your skin and clearing up acne scars/ post acne marks. Sephora carries the PLUS at SGD375 but I think the mia is good enough for me. I don’t think I really need that many brush types and the different speed options associated with the Plus. 2 brushes (sensitive + normal I think?) and the normal speed with the Mia should be good enough! I’ll review again when it’s shipped over.
I suppose you guys know by now that I’ve battled acne 2 years ago and thank god my skin’s all cleared up now, but I’ve to deal with the post acne marks, which are particularly obvious in my case cause I’m really fair. They’ve faded quite a bit over time but I think nothing’s better at clearing them than laser treatments. The best place in my opinion for laser would be Asoke Skin Hospital in Bangkok (look for Dr. Anon). I’ve spent the past year looking for equivalent treatments in Singapore and after spending unnecessary consultation charges at Paragon and NSC , I think Dr. Vincent Yeow at KK Hospital is quite a close match. I’ve a laser appointment on 19 August and I’m quite excited about it though the thought about the pain scares me. I was supposed to go on 29 July but I had to bid for the boy’s modules instead. So strange to log into CORS and all now :/ I think he’s very lucky to have me HAHA.
Also, I saw these at Watsons yesterday.

I know they’re really cute but I don’t know if they’re any good? Looking for reviews online now!

This picture isn’t taken by me (I took it off Google Images) but this is the exact same view I’m getting out of my apartment window right now. I love everything Bangkok has to offer, sometimes a very small part of me wishes that I hadn’t moved back to Singapore.
Anyway it’s 8pm now local time and I’m going to bed soon. I’m REALLY craving chilli crabs and I hope I get to have it this weekend when I’m back! Chomps.
Yeah I wrote a post last night that hinted a quarrel between the boy and I about beliefs and values but no, we did not break up nor are we close to it. One thing (good) about our disagreements is that they often end fast and we usually get everything all resolved before we go to bed and wake up happy again. I suppose spending so much time apart in different countries in the earlier part of our relationship strengthened us quite a bit (I really hope so!) cause really, what’s a little disagreement compared to the agony of missing someone miles away?
So the boy’s protecting Singapore now and I had quite a bit of time to myself today – clearing work, running to the bank, having frozen yoghurt and eating durians with my daddy <3 Tomorrow I’m meeting the girls for breakfast at Marmalade Pantry and hopefully have time to catch a movie with the boy (Bridesmaids!) before his wedding dinner.
Back to the disagreement between the boy and me.. Like what I said, it was about different beliefs. You know how they say that for two people to work out, they need to agree on three things – sex, politics and religion – and we pretty much agree on all these. Thank goodness. I suggest if you’re seeing somebody new, you should make an attempt to discuss these topics before you decide if you’re going to spend more time seeing that person. The boy and I spent an evening (at Bedok 85 food centre of all places) talking about Christianity and the likes over satay, orh lua and stingray during our very early dating days and that date made us a lot closer as we discovered that we share the same view about religion.
For the past few days, there has been some ghostly issues that have been bothering me (not personally! and I hope never!) but the boy doesn’t believe in their existence so yeah.. it kinda got to me when I couldn’t talk to him about it
But now as I look back at the whole turn of events, I feel really bad
Especially now when it’s a Saturday night without him.. meh.

Follow our blog if you aren’t already doing so
From a very objective POV (I’m not the one updating it), I think it features bite-sized fashion updates (you know how some fashion blogs can get really lengthy), styles of celebs that I actually know and fashion-forward trend updates. I find myself checking out the blog almost every day for a quick, fun read and really, I’m not saying this cause I’m involved with the company <3
If you think SingPost is inefficient, try dealing with USPS. Even Pos Malaysia is a million times more efficient than them.
I don’t understand how some people can stand washing their hair every three days or so in Singapore. I didn’t wash my hair this morning and now it feels so insanely oily after just one day!
Lunch with the girls went really well. We talked about property, ex VJ schoolmate who got arrested recently, men and life at large. Super love ‘em.
