too much.

Heading to Taipei again in Feb. I don’t know, but I think I’ve seen too much of Taipei 101/Xi Men Ting/Miramar ferris wheel to get excited about it. It’s funny how the only good thing that I remember about Taipei from my last trip with Siew in April was the clubbing. I never knew I could hold my liquor that well.

say you will.

During the solemnization ceremony of the boy’s cousin’s wedding today, the JP mentioned “things will be different after marriage. What you used to find cute and lovable during courtship may now be irritating” and the boy promptly turned to look at me. zzz

Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up. If a guy punches you he likes you. Never try to trim your own bangs and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. Every movie we see, every story we’re told implores us to wait for it, the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. But sometimes we’re so focused on finding our happy ending we don’t learn how to read the signs. How to tell from the ones who want us and the ones who don’t, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. And maybe a happy ending doesn’t include a guy, maybe… it’s you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is… just… moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope.

yesterday #2.

Yesterday was an awesomeee day. I ended work early, went back and took a longggg hot shower (somehow as much as I like being at the boy’s, the water is never really hot hot hot enough for me) then I spent a good hour or so frolicking in bed with fatbear while it was pouring outside. Then the rain stopped and I met up with the boy and and his parents for ramen.

The downside: in a few hours, I stuffed myself with ramen, sea salt caramel ice cream the boy bought, a curry puff his mummy bought and another cup of haagen dazs. And his cousin’s wedding is this Sunday. ZZZ

TGIF! Meeting Joanne and Greg tonight! x

yesterday.

Yesterday was a good day. The boy’s back and we managed to catch Harry Potter (he says I forced him to, but I insist otherwise) and pick up a take-home-pack of haagen dazs  (white chocolate raspberry love!)

stuck.

Hell of a morning. I’m sandwiched between a travel agent nazi and a boyfriend who can’t confirm his work schedule. I don’t blame him actually, I can never confirm my travel schedule etc either.  And so I blame the travel agent nazi for my intense migraine.

nail woes

I killed my manicure 20minutes after I got my nails done. Spent 30min whining about it then another 30min fixing them. Now my self fixed nails look better than my manicured nails and I feel like redoing all of ‘em but I don’t have much time.

What a bimbotic pointless entry. zzz.

Back to work.

Friend, who’s seeing G’s colleague, shares with me over SMS: They seriously lack people now. Always see him taking calls on off and working more than 12h a day. He said being overseas is better. So you can think of it as G is not having a hard life.

Me to G: You very hard life meh?!?!

G replies: Life without you is hard :( …….. Wah I’m impressed at this answer too. 10/10
